They say a picture speaks a thousand words...
Well my picture has words ON it!
That's pretty cool. Today I'm learning how to watermark my pictures. ....Okay, I got carried away!
So let's go back to me just first taking pictures with my new Canon camera. Don't ask me which one. I have no clue. Javi told me to buy it, and I like it. And anyway, am I here to sell cameras?
Okay, so here are some of the first photos...
That looks like....#*$&%^
Well, let me tell you the reasoning here: I thought, I need a light surface. So I used this item. It looks like my old white robe.
SHHHHH don't tell anyone!!! IT IS.
WRONG! (no it really IS my robe, but a bad move!)
Look at all that spikey pile! ACK! That is just information NOT NEEDED. And the dangly things under the cameo are all jacked up underneath it!
Let's try that again......
I am not one to be easily discouraged. Ask anyone who knows me. Ask my Momma!
Well. I see that more practice with the camera will be necessary. Moving on....
Eventually I did get some nice photos of the earrings I am making for my booth downtown. So check this out, baby!
Still not a great background, but the earrings are pretty sweet, from my standpoint.
Here are some more:
I love Czech glass, dark brass findings, ball end headpins. Will work for bead caps! You just can't get enough of bead caps.
I am in fact, a bead cap hog! I WANT ALL THE BEAD CAPS!
I try to get most of mine from B'sue Boutiques The earwires are from there, too. I like to get my stuff there because, well, maybe you know she is my sister-in-law and I also used to work there and I'm in the videos from time to time, too. Most of you probably met me there in the videos.
Anyway, maybe you wonder what I am doing, making all these earrings. Well I want to sell them, of course!
To do that I've rented a little space at a cute little mall downtown in East Palestine, Ohio, called Bee's Antiques. I found I really missed decorating and making things cute at the B'sue Boutiques shop before we closed it....so I have my own little booth, and I love it. Here are some of my photos:
ME! In my booth. And, some of my earrings!
All hard tasks should be accompanied by levity. Life requires humor.
Anyway.....Brenda found this cool link today from Etsy ( I intend to work hard and get my Etsy shop going here soon, as well!)
It's about taking photos. I am not entirely sure how much it has to do with taking pictures of jewelry, but it's a good read and I'd like to share it with you, here:
I hope you enjoyed my post, I gotta tell ya, this blogging is a real kick!
In the pants.
Bye bye for now from JewelryDonna....down on the farm.
