Well this is what happens when two old friends get together and the one who knows how to start a blog does the work and the other just sits there and takes it.
This is me, in my zone, lost in my own world.
Ever since I was a kid, I always wanted to make stuff and sell it....or find something I could sell. One of my first memories of entrepreneurship was when I took a baby buggy and put bags of gravel from our driveway in it, and tried to sell it to the neighbors.
While that didn't really work, but I learned two key things:
- They gotta want it
- They gotta need it
and also a little about packaging...cause hey, I did bag it up for my customers.
Or at least, I had the dream of customers!
So I also have to say, I learned how important it is to be determined.
We all have a story, and I am continually writing mine.
I've decided that I am going to be JewelryDonna.....I have always loved jewelry and hey!
I have even helped B'sue make some videos on jewelry making. You can find me in her line up of free instructional videos here:
Here is one I just did:
HEY! There's only ONE thumbs down on that video...
I have a feeling it was my old boyfriend from high school. He is still bitter.
It won't stop me from making more videos, though!
My motto is KEEP DANCING. Here I am, dancing with Shelley from B'sue Boutiques
Anyway......in my jewelry making journey, still a bit in its infancy, these things are key:
Strive for excellence, but not perfection. You don't have to perfect to be happy, or successful. And you're never too old....or chubby.
